FRIENDS OF THE FUNDACIÓN JACOBEA PLAN
The Fundación Jacobea is launching a patronage plan in order to add support from individuals, institutions and companies that will guarantee the future of the funds and the archives that it is creating.
The Fundación Jacobea Friends Plan wants to involve society in the creation and preservation of the memory of contemporary pilgrimages.
In exchange for these contributions, the Fundación Jacobea offers its friends the chance to enjoy various benefits.
WHY BECOME A FRIEND OF THE FUNDACIÓN JACOBEA?: VALUES AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
The Fundación Jacobea collects testimonies from pilgrims, experts, hospitaleros, managers and representatives of the Jacobean Associations, etc. in order to create a file on contemporary pilgrimages to Santiago de Compostela.
The Fundación Jacobea archive includes texts, images and audiovisuals, all of them published in two language versions (Spanish and English) and shared openly through our website and social networks.
Actively supporting the Fundación Jacobea means supporting the creation of the archive on contemporary pilgrimages, the collection and preservation of testimonies from the Jacobean world, their translation and/or subtitles in Spanish and English, and the possibility of continuing to share them openly and free of charge on the grid.
Each contribution counts, as much as it is possible for each interested person, for each institution or company, it will permit us to build and bequeath a memory of the pilgrims and the pilgrimages to Santiago.
